Dhaka University Alumni in the UK (DUAUK) was established in 2017 to bring together former resident students and graduates of the University of Dhaka who reside in the United Kingdom.
The University of Dhaka is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in South Asia. Over the years, it has produced distinguished leaders, academics, professionals, entrepreneurs, public servants and community leaders in Bangladesh and around the world.
DUAUK seeks to preserve and promote this proud legacy by fostering friendship, collaboration, professional networking and lifelong engagement among alumni.

The principal aims and objectives of DUAUK are to:
- Promote fellowship, friendship and unity among alumni.

- Encourage professional networking, mentoring and knowledge exchange.
- Celebrate the heritage of the University of Dhaka.
- Celebrate Bangladesh’s national days and important national occasions.
- Support charitable and humanitarian causes.
- Establish and develop partnerships with educational, professional and community organisations.
- Support meritorious and disadvantaged students of the University of Dhaka through the DUAUK Trust Fund.
- Arrange scholarship programmes and scholarship ceremonies in collaboration with the University of Dhaka.
- Represent and promote the interests and goodwill of University of Dhaka alumni in the UK.
- Encourage alumni to contribute positively to British Bangladeshi and wider UK society.
